Tamar partners, IEC to restart gas deal talks

The stalled talks between the Israel Electric Corporation and Tamar partners Noble Energy Inc., Delek Group Ltd. and Isramco Ltd. are expected to restart in the coming days. The negotiations will be subject to the restrictions imposed by the Public Utilities Authority (Electricity), which brought about the suspension in the talks, sources believe.
The gas sale deal from Tamar to the IEC is expected to be Israel's biggest ever energy deal and will be worth more than $20 billion.
