Tel Aviv Mayor Huldai: Terror will not stop this city

June 8, 2016 22:43

Tel Aviv Mayor Ron Huldai was defiant following Wednesday night's terror shooting attack at the Sarona shopping complex in the city in which three people were killed.

Huldai told the media at the scene of the incident that Tel Aviv has been a target for terrorists for years, but the city would not be stopped by such attacks.

"We will continue to create, to build and to go out in this city," Huldai said.

The mayor cautioned, however, that the investigation into the incident was ongoing and residents should heed the calls of authorities to avoid arriving at the scene of the attack.
