A man has reported on Sunday that his wife kidnapped their one-and-a-half year old daughter, Tel Aviv police said.

The woman took the child to a family event in England two weeks ago, and has not returned. The 50-year-old man said his wife told him on Sunday that she would not return to Israel.

Tel Aviv police have opened an investigation, in cooperation with Interpol.
