Tel Aviv's construction official’s car explodes, none hurt

Animportant Tel Aviv official narrowly escaped what appeared to have beenan assassination attempt early Sunday morning.
Shota Hovel, the head ofthe city's construction oversight department, started his car and drovea short distance on Holon’s Arlozorov Street before an explosion shook the vehicle. No one was hurt, but the car was damaged in the blast.
Police were investigating the explosion, and Hovel was taken in for questioning.
