Thousands of people arrived at Rabin Square in Tel Aviv on Tuesdayfor a rally to mark May Day, also know as International Workers' Day.
The protestors, calling for social justice, marched from from Habima Square.
Police presence in the square was heavy, and included helicopters flying overhead as well as a strong ground presence.
