Berkeley police confirmed on Monday they were investigating the attack on Rabbi Michael Lerner's home overnight Sunday, Tikkun announced.

The attackers used a powerful form of glue to attach posters to the door and around Lerner's property, attacking Lerner personally, and attacking left-wingers as supporters of terrorism and "Islamo-fascism."

This attack and vandalism follow on a week filled with Lerner and Tikkun staff receiving hate mail, prompted apparently by Tikkun's announcements in support of Judge Goldstone.
