Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu announced on Sunday that Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan will not visit the Gaza Strip during his trip this week to Egypt, according to Turkish daily Today's Zaman.
Addressing the current crisis in Turkish-Israeli relations, Davutoglu said that Israel "is endangering itself with increasing isolation."
The prime minister's trip will begin on Monday and will include stops in Tunisia and Libya.
