UN Watch calls UN Human Rights Council 'A jury of brigands'

The UN Watch NGO harshly criticized the United Nations Human Rights Council on Tuesday, calling it "systematically biased" against Israel. The criticism followed the adoption on Tuesday of a resolution "regretting" that Israel skipped a mandated review of its human rights record.

Responding to the resolution, UN Watch executive director Hillel Neuer said: "A jury of brigands is not justice, it’s a travesty. We regret that today's resolution failed to acknowledge the elephant in the room: the council's systematic bias against Israel."
