US Attorney General: 'Bin Laden was not assassinated'

According to the BBC, US Attorney General Eric Holder has countered claims that the raid on Osama bin Laden's Pakistan compound was solely a mission to kill the al-Qaida leader.
Holder told the BBC on Thursday that if bin Laden had surrendered, he would have been captured alive, and that the raid was "not an assassination."
Holder referred to the raid as a "kill or capture" mission.
