North Korea showed an American scientist, Siegfried S. Hecker, a new uranium enrichment plant, The New York Times reported on Sunday.

Hecker, a researcher at Stanford University, said that he was "stunned" by the plant's sophistication, where "hundreds and hundreds" of centrifuges were installed in "an ultra-modern control room."
