White House: Debt talks moving into 'difficult days'

WASHINGTON - White House chief of staff Bill Daley warned on Sunday that negotiations over the US debt limit and deficit reduction were moving into "difficult days" and said it was crucial to market confidence to get a deal soon.
Speaking on the NBC television news program, "Meet the Press," Daley said markets around the world were waiting to see if US officials could compromise and come to an agreement.
