The White House will host a global nuclear summit in mid-April, AFP reported on Friday, citing a statement by the US government.

The news agency quoted White House spokesman Robert Gibbs as saying that US President Barak Obama would “host a nuclear security summit … to discuss steps we can collectively take to secure vulnerable nuclear materials and prevent acts of nuclear terrorism.”
