Labor leader Shelly Yacimovich on Saturday called on both the opposition and the coalition to go to general elections early, stating that the objective of her party was to overthrow Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu's government.
In an interview with Army Radio, Yacimovich expressed hope that the opposition would unite to ensure the advance of the elections. She said that a bill to dissolve the government would be put forward for first vote in the first few weeks of May, and stated that Labor would lead the process.
"Labor is ready for the elections," Yacimovich affirmed, saying that it terms of party's internal organization and ideology, it is prepared.
