Ben-Gurion International Airport has been ranked as the leading Middle East airport and second among international airports that handle 5 million-15 million passengers annually, according to a poll conducted by the Airports Council International. Ben-Gurion was also ranked as the second-best hub among airports that handle 5 million-15 million passengers a year. The ranking is based on a satisfaction poll that examined 34 points, from check-in to arrival at the gates, which were reviewed by 200,000 passengers throughout 2007. Representatives of Ben-Gurion's management will receive a prize in April in Shanghai, China.
