Biomed-Israel 2007 kicks off in TA

The annual ILSI Biomed Israel conference begins today in Tel Aviv. With over 50 speakers from abroad, 80 from Israel and an expected 5,000 attendees participating, organizers expect this to be the largest life science conference ever held here.

The annual ILSI (Israel Life Science Industry)-Biomed Israel conference begins today in Tel Aviv. With over 50 speakers from abroad, 80 from Israel and an expected 5,000 attendees participating, organizers expect this to be the largest life science conference ever held here. With a large number of local and overseas exhibitors expected, the conference also aims to serve as a venue for the inception and closing of many lucrative business deals within the industry. This year's event, which takes place through Thursday at the David Intercontinental and the Dan Panorama Hotels, will also be divided into two parallel channels; the Biomed Conference (focusing on medical equipment, biotechnology and pharmaceuticals) and the International Stem Cell Meeting.
