Chain store sales continue to drop

Sales in chain stores in Israel declined 1.2 percent in the last three months, based on fixed prices, continuing the negative trend of May through July, the Central Bureau of Statistics said Tuesday.

Sales in chain stores in Israel declined 1.2 percent in the last three months, based on fixed prices, continuing the negative trend of May through July, the Central Bureau of Statistics said Tuesday. Food sales in chain stores dropped 3.6% in August, September and October, compared to last autumn, following the 6.3% decrease of the previous three months.
