Chief Scientist approves NIS 15.8m.

This money comes in addition to some NIS 13.5m. already allocated by the government towards these projects.

The Chief Scientist's office in the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Labor on Sunday approved the allocation of NIS 15.8 million to fund seven new projects in the nanotechnology, communications, medical equipment, energy reduction, software and environmental protection sectors. This money comes in addition to some NIS 13.5m. already allocated by the government towards these projects. The money has been designated for companies with operations in some of the most underdeveloped regions of the country, including Dimona and Sde Boker.
