ECI Telecom cancels stock sale

ECI Telecom said it no longer plans to offer shares to the public and requested from the US Securities and Exchange Commission that its registration statement covering the shares be withdrawn.

ECI Telecom on Wednesday said it no longer plans to offer shares to the public and requested from the US Securities and Exchange Commission that its registration statement covering the shares be withdrawn. According to the original filing made in early June, the maker of telecommunications equipment had intended to sell as many as five million shares for $9.64 each in New York.
