ECI Telecom said it was selected as the sole supplier of edge routers for Korea Telecom's Metro Ethernet network. The routers will be provided by the data networking division of Petah Tikva-based ECI, which also plans to install additional ST200 routers in the third quarter. ECI's products were selected after the ST200 won Korea Telecom's extensive benchmark test, and have been used by Korea Telecom since 2003. The two companies have worked with one another for nearly 15 years.
