Egypt to supply natural gas

Under the terms of the program, which was initiated by the Infrastructures Ministry natural gas will be transported via a pipeline connecting between El-Arish in Sinai and Ashkelon.

The National Council for Planning and Construction this week approved a program for the transport of natural gas from Egypt to Israel, which for the first time will connect a natural gas pipeline between Israel and its neighboring countries, the National Infrastructures Ministry said Wednesday. Under the terms of the program, which was initiated by the Infrastructures Ministry natural gas will be transported via a pipeline connecting between El-Arish in Sinai and Ashkelon.
