Elbit Medical buys Budapest site

Permits for the project have already been issued. The 122,857-square meter site was purchased from four companies who had been sharing ownership of the land and usage rights.

Plaza Centers (Europe) BV, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Elbit Medical Imaging, bought a site in central Budapest for 21m. Euro for development as a shopping and entertainment center, Elbit Medical said Wednesday. Permits for the project have already been issued. The 122,857-square meter site was purchased from four companies who had been sharing ownership of the land and usage rights. Plaza Centers secured 90-percent financing for the purchase from a consortium of international banks.
