Elbit wins $33.6m. US Marine contract

The first deliveries will be made in 2006 and 2007. Possible added orders could bring the value of the contract to $250m. over a five-year period, Elbit said.

Elbit Systems Ltd said Monday its US subsidiary Kollsman Inc., won initial orders worth $33.6 million to supply high-performance thermal binocular system long range thermal imagers (LRTI) to the US Marines. The first deliveries will be made in 2006 and 2007. Possible added orders could bring the value of the contract to $250m. over a five-year period, Elbit said.
