Electricity rates for households will rise by another 3.25 percent from Sunday next week as a result of the increase in fuel prices since November.

Electricity rates for households will rise by another 3.25 percent from Sunday next week as a result of the increase in fuel prices since November. From January 27, household consumers will pay 47.4 agorot per kilowatt/hour, while electricity tariffs for businesses and commercial users will be increased by 3.10% to 53.5 agorot per kilowatt/hour. Over the course of 2007, fuel costs rose by 28%.
