FDA okays latest Given software

Given Imaging said it received US Food and Drug Administration clearance to market the most advanced version of its patented RAPID software, RAPID 4, for use with the PillCam Platform. RAPID 4 offers new features and powerful diagnostic tools that aid in the reading and interpretation of videos captured from the PillCam SB and PillCam ESO capsules. Yokne'am-based Given is developing a complete line of PillCam video capsules for detecting disorders of the gastrointestinal tract.
