Five projects to bring small companies into new markets or promote new products were approved to receive a total of NIS 5 million from a fund set up last May, the Industry, Trade and Labor Ministry said Monday. Projects that received the assistance included those seeking to export programming products, jewelry and homeopathic medicine. The fund can extend a loan of up to NIS 1m. to small or medium-sized exporters or potential exporters with sales volumes of not more than $10m. Since May, the fund has provided 10 export marketing projects with NIS 10.8m. Application materials are available at its Web site (www.moital.gov.il).
