The government approved on Tuesday the request made by Industry, Trade and Labor Minister Eli Yishai for an additional NIS 11 million to be added to his ministry's budget to finance the completion of the infrastructure in the industrial technology park under construction in Beersheba. According to Yishai, the park, the first such project constructed in the southern city, will strengthen the area's economy and solidify the city's standing as the capital of the Negev.
