The Israel Securities Authority is planning to establish a forum for licensed investment companies, that will act as the central representative body to discuss all legislative matters. The forum will bring together ISA representatives and license holder representatives, who will be invited to take part in debates discussing legislation matters in this field. Today, there are over 200 active companies that hold investment consultancy and management portfolio licenses but only about one-tenth is part of a union or association represented at the ISA.
