Israeli, Arab manufacturers to meet

The conference is a joint project of the Union of Mediterranean Confederations of Enterprises and Italian government and trade bodies.

Manufacturers Association of Israel Director-General Yoram Belizovsky was scheduled to lead a delegation leaving today (Monday) for a conference of industrialists from south- and east-Mediterranean countries, the association said Sunday. The Palermo meeting will bring together manufacturers and business people from Turkey, Syria, Lebanon, Cyprus, Israel, the Palestinian Authority, Egypt, Algeria, Tunisia, Malta and Italy in an effort to strengthen economic and political links in the region. The conference is a joint project of the Union of Mediterranean Confederations of Enterprises and Italian government and trade bodies.
