The average wage of some 2,609,000 Israeli employees was NIS 7,784 in July, reflecting a 1.8% annualized growth rate over June and July, the Central Bureau of Statistics said Wednesday. Additionally, the 64,200 foreign workers in the country earned NIS 4,908 on average. There were also 14,700 workers from the Palestinian Authority employed in Israel during the month, the bureau said.
