The average gross monthly wage per employee stood at NIS 7,375 in October, the Central Bureau of Statistics said Monday. The survey counted 2.569 million employed workers during the month.

The average gross monthly wage per employee stood at NIS 7,375 in October, the Central Bureau of Statistics said Monday. The survey counted 2.569 million employed workers during the month. CBS reported a 2.4% rise in the number of Israeli workers, from September to October and a 4.2% rise in average salary in fixed prices for the month. The 66,300 foreign workers in the country earned on average NIS 4,190 for the month, CBS said. The total work force in Israel, including foreign workers and the 16,200 people employed in Judea and Samaria and the Gaza Strip, stood at 2.651 million, earning an average NIS 7,264.
