Israeli-founded PortAuthority Technologies has signed a partnership agreement with US-based secure content provider Blue Coat Systems to create an integrated security solution to prevent costly information leaks and ensure regulatory compliance, PortAuthority said Sunday. PortAuthority, which has its R&D center in Ra'anana, said the deal would give it access to tens of thousands of Blue Coat customers. The application will combine Blue Coat's SG appliance with PortAuthority's Information Leak Prevention appliance to enable companies to accurately prevent information leaks over encrypted and non-secure Web communications, the companies said.
