US Army contract Tadiran Communications, the Holon-based communications manufacturer controlled by Elbit Systems, announced Wednesday a $15m. contract from the US army for its subsidiary Tallahassee Technologies Inc. Under the terms of the deal, Tallahassee Technologies will provide RPDA-57 handheld computers as well as Tacter-31M tactical computers to the military. This represents the first major order for the products, according to Tadiran, which noted that the US army already extensively uses Tallahassee Technologies systems.
