Water delegation heads for Spain

Thirteen Israeli water desalination companies were to leave for Spain today, aiming to add to their strong presence in water projects in that country.

Thirteen Israeli water desalination companies were to leave for Spain today, aiming to add to their strong presence in water projects in that country. The Israel Exports Institute said Sunday that Israeli companies were involved in Spanish desalination projects valued at approximately $180 million and that this week's visit was expected to boost that by $50m. a year over the next two years. The IEI, which arranged the delegation with the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Labor, said it expects a partnership agreement to be signed during the visit between the Spanish Water company and Mekorot - Israel's national water company.
