Workers at the First International Bank of Israel planned a strike at 25 branches in the center of the country to protest the damage caused by a merge with Bank Otsar Hahayal, Army Radio reported. According to the workers, negotiations with the management had reached a dead end. The management of the bank responded by saying that "the union's behavior is not responsible. We mean to make all [possible] efforts to reduce harm to customers."
