Industry, Trade and Labor Minister Eli Yishai will participate in a World Economic Forum conference of middle-eastern nations next week in Jordan.
The annual conference brings together industry leaders, businessmen, politicians and academics with the goal of increasing and advancing regional trade cooperation. In addition to meeting with King Abdullah of Jordan, Yishai also plans to hold talks with Jordan's industry, trade and labor minister and Egypt's foreign trade minister, to discuss trade agreements between the nations. Israel and Jordan did $136 million worth of trade in 2006.
