Border policeman accused of raping 70-yr.-old lady

A 21-year-old border policeman was arrested on Saturday on suspicion of having raped a 70-year-old woman in Kiryat Bialik near Haifa. The woman, who was currently being examined in the hospital, said that the young man dragged her into the bushes before committing the act. Bypassers heard the woman screaming and notified the police, however, the suspect managed to escape and was only apprehended later. Police were investigating the suspicion that the man was involved in other rapes.
