In the first round of the Women's American Football in Israel Spring Tournament playoffs, No. 5 seed Cafe Rimon beat No. 4 Edita Jewelry 18-13 at Kraft Family Stadium in Jerusalem last week. It was Cafe Rimon's first win of the tournament, and the road does not get any easier. In the semifinals on Wednesday, Cafe Rimon will face top seed Burger's Bar. In the other first-round game, Misha'an Plumbers (3) beat Captain's Crew (6) 27-6. The Plumbers will face No. 2 seed Nadlan City in the semifinals. Thursday, May 25: Semifinal, Nadlan City vs Misha'an Plumbers, 8 p.m., Kraft North; fifth-place game, Edita Jewelry vs Captain's Crew, 8 p.m., Kraft South; semifinal, Burger's Bar vs Cafe Rimon, 9 p.m., Kraft North. Thursday, June 1 (Shavuot): no games scheduled. Thursday, June 8: Third place game and championship game. Tover'z Boyz bounce back with victory Tover'z Boys looked strong after a tough loss the previous week, cruising to a 30-0 victory over the Terminators in week six of the Yosef Goodman AFI High School League. Dani Laufer led the way with three touchdown receptions. Right behind him was Sammy Tover and star snapper Ayal Cohen, each with a TD catch. Itamar Bernstien threw all five scoring passes. Ari Rosenberg led the defense with two interceptions and set up a touchdown on a return.
