In the closest game yet of the Yosef Goodman AFI high school League, Goldstein and Berger Ltd. edged out IDT Global Services 27-26 to record its first win of the season. IDT had a chance to tie the game late in the second half but after scoring a touchdown, the yellows couldn't come up with the crucial extra-point conversion. Goldstein and Berger Ltd. 27, IDT Global Services 26 QB Eran Markose hooked up with wide receiver Idan Zaviv for two touchdowns, while WR Dan Schnel caught two deep bombs for scores. Derech Hateva 68, 8th Ltd. 6 Derech Hateva looked strong after a bye week, and handed 8th Ltd. a convincing defeat. Derech Hateva QB Gavi Teitz threw six touchdown passes, four to Rafi Jaffe, one to Yonatan Halberstat, and another to Aaron Berger. On defense, Yus "the bus" Friedman had three interceptions, running one back for a TD. The Jewish Press 44, Terminators 6 Playing its first game of the season, a hungry Jewish Press team got on the board early and never looked back. Wide receiver Uriel Ross caught four touchdown passes, while Jake Hauser scored another pair. On defense, interceptions were caught by Yoel Ross and Elimeir Maltz.
