No Occupation: Graduate student in Public Health Education: B.A. in Psychology, currently a graduate student Pets: Cat named "Chappie" Religious affiliation / observance: Christian, protestant Last person / party I voted for: George Bush Next person / party I will vote for: Republican, unsure of the candidate My history (100 words max): While I am Christian, I have always been a Zionist. I love the Jewish people and the nation of Israel. I believe that the US must unconditionally support Israel amidst growing threats from it's neighbors. I may conduct my Public Health internship in Israel when that time comes Family history (100 words max): My parents are part of a growing minority My connection with Israel: Ever since reading "The Hiding Place" and "Anne Frank's Diary" I have been empathetic towards the Jewish struggle during the Holocaust and subsequently became a Zionist. Of course, the Jewish struggle is not confined to the Holocaust, but continues as many of Israel's neighbors wish to see it destroyed What I would take with me to a deserted island: Prayer If I could have dinner with any person in the world it would be: Jesus What angers you: Hostility towards Judeo-Christian values. In the US, people increasingly disdain you if you voice conservative values What makes you happy: Time with my family, meeting interesting and engaging people, reading, playing with my cat "Chappie" Last book I read was: I am currently reading "The Truth About Muhammad" Comfort food: Krispy Kreme donuts My life five years from now: Hopefully married and possibly have children You may not like it but I have something controversial to say: Truth is absolute.. each man cannot create his own truth.
