Dear Reader,
As you can imagine, more people are reading The Jerusalem Post than ever before. Nevertheless, traditional business models are no longer sustainable and high-quality publications, like ours, are being forced to look for new ways to keep going. Unlike many other news organizations, we have not put up a paywall. We want to keep our journalism open and accessible and be able to keep providing you with news and analyses from the frontlines of Israel, the Middle East and the Jewish World.

As one of our loyal readers, we ask you to be our partner.

For $5 a month you will receive access to the following:

  • A user experience almost completely free of ads
  • Access to our Premium Section
  • Content from the award-winning Jerusalem Report and our monthly magazine to learn Hebrew - Ivrit
  • A brand new ePaper featuring the daily newspaper as it appears in print in Israel

Help us grow and continue telling Israel’s story to the world.

Thank you,

Ronit Hasin-Hochman, CEO, Jerusalem Post Group
Yaakov Katz, Editor-in-Chief

TRY ONE YOURSELF>>> Age: 5 Residence: Herzliya, Israel Married? With children? Not married, but a couple of puppies Occupation: Lazing around contemplating Education: The School of Life Pets: Ha Ha Religious affiliation / observance: I'm an avid eater Last person / party I voted for: Bibi - There's not much of a choice and he's the best of a bad bunch Next person / party I will vote for: Gaydamak My history (100 words max): I was found on the streets of Herzliya when I was a month old and adopted by a nice couple. I love eating, laying around, chewing, sleeping and gnashing on stuff. My life experience has taught me not to trust anyone willing to give away things for free to people who want to hurt you. They'll still steal all your bones. Family history (100 words max): I was too young to remember my parents when I was kicked out at one month old, but judging from the way I was treated, I'm probably descended from Texans. My connection with Israel: The only place I've ever been and the only place I'll lay down my bone What I would take with me to a deserted island: Lots of bones If I could have dinner with anyone in the world it would be: Lassie. What a foxy lady. Woof Woof What angers you: When my owners finish all of their dinner without throwing me any scraps What makes you happy: Scraps. And bones. Mostly food Last book I read was: The Wind is My Mother: The Life and Teachings of a Native American Shaman by Bear Heart and Molly Larkin. It took me a while to chew on it Comfort food: Chicken, beef, fish, dairy, bones, lokxen pudding, biographies about native Americans My life five years from now: Lazing around in my ripe old age, chewing on something nice You may not like it but I have something controversial to say: There'll never be peace with cats. No matter how much we try, until they stop being brainwashed from an early age to run away from us, I can't see it happening and they'll remain homeless street urchins until then Happiness: 1-10 (10 being the happiest) 9 TRY ONE YOURSELF>>> Meet all 'About Me' participants
