So I did and indeed, water & desalination is a booming and very interesting business Family history (100 words max): Jewish grandfather - history of that part of ancestors was a tragedy. Others were mainly engineers, teachers etc. - normal people. My connection with Israel: Went to Israel first time in ´86, worked in Kibbutz which produces irrigation equipment - member of two German-Israeli organizations, working for a leading Israeli company that manufactures components for desalination plants What I would take with me to a deserted island: A signal gun, ammunition, a small scale desalinator and the complete Dostoevsky edition If I could have dinner with any person in the world it would be: Johann Sebastian Bach (in a piano bar) Which feminine/masculine trait would I like to have: Being a good dancer (just for my wife) What angers you: People who speak about something they know nothing about What makes you happy: Discussing politics at 5 o´clock in the morning with strong coffee Last book I read was: "Development of Israel" by Dr. Arthur Ruppin, edited 1919 (I found it in an antique shop) Comfort food: Cheeseburger My life five years from now: Developed business together with my wonderful colleagues, give my humble contribution to German-Israeli relations You may not like it but I have something controversial to say: The first person to give me a conclusive explanation that the Golan Heights belong historically to Syria, will receive EUR 1,000 from me!
