Text: We try to understand why the world's biggest Jewish community declines in numbers and is fast becoming irrelevant to a Jewish future. We wonder how American Jews became so shallow, superficial and defined themselves as in Seinfeld. We wonder what American Jews offer the other communities, and wonder why Israel is not so central to their hearts and minds. Many of us feel you have failed the rest of us.
