In 1992, as a part of the Agenda 21 recommendations, the United Nations established World Water Day, now held annually on 22 March.

One of the main goals of this Day, and the aim of the many Non Government Organizations that are active for this occasion, is to raise public awareness on the critical issue of water in our era, with a particular focus on access to fresh water.
This year, KKL Italy joined the initiative with a series of conferences held in four Italian cities.

Milan, Turin, Florence and Rome were the stage upon which KKL-JNF field experts Ami Uliel and Yehiel Cohen illustrated the issues, interventions and projects involving KKL-JNF, with the help of its Friends worldwide.
