The scientific seminar was a two day affair; the first event being an academic seminar and tour of the Scientific Center of Monaco on April 23, and the main event being a prestigious scientific conference which took place the next day at the Centre Universitaire Méditerranéen de Nice. The conference was attended by professionals who presented research and activities related to various aspects of ecology, sustainability and environmental protection in the Mediterranean region.

Ms. Yaël Mazigh, the president of the KKL-JNF bureau in Nice, noted that the visit and the conference contributed a great deal to strengthening ties between KKL-JNF, the mayor of Nice and the representative from Monaco. The many meetings that took place at the initiative of the hosts reflected their avid interest in collaborating with KKL-JNF in joint projects related to the diverse fields in which KKL-JNF is considered a world leader.
