On the evening of Sunday, December 2, 2007, JNF Toronto will pay tribute to Miles S. Nadal on the occasion of the organization's 59th Annual Negev Dinner. The funds generated during the Campaign leading up to this event will assist in the renewal and rejuvenation of Ayalon/Canada Park, midway between Jerusalem and Tel Aviv in the Ayalon Valley. Mr. Nadal's personal gift of $1,000,000 will lead the Campaign effort, hoping to achieve a total of $7,000,000. A noted business leader and philanthropist in the Toronto community, Mr. Nadal is the Chairman and CEO of MDC Partners Inc, a network of innovative and entrepreneurial marketing communication firms providing advertising, media and marketing services, as well as customer relationship management to many of the world's premiere corporations. The company has offices in Canada, United States, United Kingdom and Latin America. Mr. Nadal provided the keystone gift for the rebuilding of Toronto's Bloor Jewish Community Centre (now known as the Miles S. Nadal Jewish Community Centre). He has also been honoured for his significant contributions to the REENA Foundation, The Junior Achievement Program of the Schulich School of Business at York University and his provision of High School and University Scholarships. He has been a member of the Executive of the United Jewish Appeal and served on the Board of both Mount Sinai Hospital and the Baycrest Centre for Geriatric Care. He has received a number of awards for his entrepreneurship and for his philanthropic initiatives. Miles is married to Kelly and they have four daughters: Sarah, Samantha, Olivia and Julia.
