At Sde Boker in the Negev, "Moshe Boulevard" was dedicated this week in memory of Moshe Rivlin, who was KKL-JNF World Chairman during the years 1977-1998. The boulevard runs from Sde Boker College and Ben Gurion's grave to the highway leading north. Palm trees were planted along the boulevard, benches were installed on the sidewalks, and commemoration stones were erected in the squares on its sides. Participating in the ceremony were the heads of KKL-JNF and public officials. Ruth Rivlin and her daughters Sarit and Tali represented the family. KKL-JNF World Chairman Efi Stentzler and Co-Chairman Avraham Duvdevani praised Rivlin's unique contribution to KKL-JNF and to the development of Israel. Aharon Yadlin emphasized his dedication to building the Negev in particular, while Shmuel Rifman. Head of the Ramat Hanegev Regional Council spoke warmly of the close relationship between Rivlin and local residents.
