Shas spiritual leader Rabbi Ovadia Yosef was discharged from Hadassah University Medical Center on Wednesday.
Ovadia returned to his home in Jerusalem's Har Nof quarter two days after undergoing a successful angioplasty procedure for the installation of two metallic stents into a major coronary artery.
The 86-year-old rabbi, who had suffered from chest pain and breathlessness, is in good condition and will be able to mark Rosh Hashana with his family.
