For the 11th year in a row, Magen David Adom is collecting basic Passover food
items for the poor. Thousands of teenagers will help the ambulance and first-aid
organization collect the packages donated by customers shopping at supermarket
branches around the country.
The youths will sort the food products and
take them to MDA, which will distribute them to poor families selected by the
welfare authorities. Among the products are canned food, prepared haroset for
the Seder, sugar, bitter herbs and other items for the holiday.
