A spokesman for Kenya's prime minister says a Cabinet minister and assistant minister have been killed in the crash of their small plane in southwestern Kenya.
Prime Minister Raila Odinga's spokesman Salim Lone has told The Associated Press that Roads Minister Kipkalya Kones and Assistant Home Affairs Minister Lorna Laboso have been killed in the crash.
An official at Kenya's Civil Aviation Authority confirmed that the lawmakers were on the six-seater plane when the plane crashed Tuesday.
