Two American soldiers were killed in an explosion in Iraq's Diyala province, the military said Monday. The Task Force Lightning soldiers assigned to the 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division, died Sunday, the military said in a statement. Two other soldiers from the same unit were wounded and transported to a hospital on a US military base, the statement said. All names were withheld pending notification of the soldiers' families.
